Top Chase Cards in EB01 Memorial Collection (One Piece TCG)

EB01 is a once-per-year Extra Booster designed as a side release rather than a chase-heavy main set. It introduces one new Manga Rare, Tony Tony Chopper, which is well-liked but not positioned as a top-tier grail. Beyond that, the set adds three new Alt Art Leaders, giving it some collector interest, but overall, the chase pool is intentionally limited.

Top Chase Cards by Category

Manga Rare

EB01 has a single manga rare, which defines the entire chase profile of the set. This card is the main reason collectors open or hold EB01.

Is EB01 Memorial Collection worth opening?

EB01 is generally better kept sealed for display rather than opened aggressively. With only a small number of meaningful chase cards, most of its value comes from limited availability and its status as a once-per-year product. Opening makes sense if you enjoy the theme or want a shot at the Chopper Manga Rare, but from a value perspective, sealed boxes tend to make more sense than chasing pulls.

How this set compares

Compared to mainline OP sets, EB01 has far fewer high-end chases by design. It doesn’t compete on hype or rarity density, but instead on theme, scarcity, and collectability as a side release. It’s best viewed as a complementary product rather than a core chase set.
