Top Chase Cards in OP13 Carrying on His Will (One Piece TCG)

OP13 is a full anniversary-level grail set and sits in the same top tier as OP05 and OP09. It pushes rarity and collector appeal further than any earlier release. The set contains six Manga Rares and introduces the Red Manga Rare, a new ultra-premium tier that immediately became one of the most expensive manga variants in the One Piece TCG. On top of that, OP13 adds 10 Special Rares, including new Wanted Poster designs, a Gold Roger Wanted, and two gold and silver 3rd Anniversary Special cards. Everything in OP13 is built around high-end collecting.

Top Chase Cards by Category

Manga Rare

OP13 is a manga-heavy set, with multiple headline pulls instead of a single top target. This category drives most of the set’s collector demand.

Monkey D. Luffy (OP13-118) — Red Manga

Portgas D. Ace (OP13-119) — Red Manga

Sabo (OP13-120) — Red Manga

Sabo (OP13-120)

3rd Anniversary Special Cards

These anniversary variants add premium finishes to an iconic collector character. They sit outside normal pull patterns and act as prestige hits.

Shanks (OP09-004) — Gold

Shanks (OP09-004) — Silver

Wanted Posters (SP)

Wanted Poster SPs are a collector-first subset with a consistent themed presentation. They read well as a set and often get hunted as a complete run.

Portgas D. Ace (OP13-119)

Loading…

Monkey D. Luffy (OP13-118)

Loading…

Gol D. Roger (OP09-118)

Loading…

Sabo (OP13-120)

Loading…

Special Rare (SP)

These SPs add depth below the manga tier and give OP13 more “hit density” per box. They’re strong targets for collectors who want premium art without chasing manga pulls.

Monkey D. Luffy (OP09-119)

Portgas D. Ace (EB02-028)

Loading…

Sabo (OP07-118)

Loading…

Benn Beckman (OP09-009)

Loading…

Smoker (OP10-030)

Loading…

Lilith (OP07-111)

Loading…

Treasure Rare (TR)

Treasure Rares are scarcity-driven pulls, often hunted for their limited supply and regional variants. OP13 includes a small but meaningful TR lineup.

Nefeltari Vivi (EB02-026) — Chinese

Loading…

Carrot (OP11-049) — French

Loading…

Monkey D. Luffy (OP11-058)

Event Manga Rare

Event Manga Rares bring manga panel-style visuals into the chase pool. This adds a separate mini-chase that collects well alongside the main hits.

Divine Departure (OP13-076)

Loading…

Secret Rare (SEC) Alt Art

Secret Rare Alt Arts sit at the top of the non-manga chase tier. They’re harder pulls and often become the main “secondary headline” cards in a set.

Monkey D. Luffy (OP13-118)

Loading…

Portgas D. Ace (OP13-119)

Loading…

Sabo (OP13-120)

Loading…

Leader Alt Art

Leader Alt Arts stay in demand because leaders define decks and collect well over time. OP13 has a strong spread of leader targets.

Monkey D. Luffy (OP13-001)

Loading…

Gol D. Roger (OP13-003)

Loading…

Portgas D. Ace (OP13-002)

Is OP13 Carrying on His Will worth opening?

OP13 is worth opening if you accept very high risk in exchange for the highest possible upside. The chase depth is exceptional: six Manga Rares already raise the ceiling, and the Red Manga Rare represents the ultimate hit. Even outside the manga tier, the Wanted Poster SPs and anniversary specials provide meaningful premium pulls. While most boxes will not hit a grail, current box prices are still considered reasonable relative to the potential ceiling, which is why OP13 continues to attract both collectors and high-risk openers. Singles remain the safer option for targeting one specific card, but as a sealed experience OP13 is one of the strongest sets ever.

How this set compares

Compared to OP09, OP13 goes a step further by introducing an entirely new rarity tier and expanding premium variants across the set. Compared to OP05, which pioneered multi-manga chasing, OP13 refines the concept with better presentation, stronger character selection, and more chase categories. Overall, OP13 is widely viewed as one of the best One Piece TCG sets to date, combining hype, rarity, and collector demand at a level few other sets reach.
