The table uses the general retail release date. New Disney Lorcana sets can be available at participating game stores during prerelease before the wider release.

How Disney Lorcana Release Dates Work

You may sometimes see two different release dates for the same Disney Lorcana set. This happens because participating local game stores can receive new sets before the wider retail release.

For example, Wilds Unknown had its prerelease on 8 May 2026 before becoming available everywhere on 15 May. Attack of the Vine! followed the same system, with prerelease on 17 July and general availability on 24 July. Ravensburger confirmed those dates in its official release information.

Disney Lorcana Set Rotation

Disney Lorcana uses set rotation for its Core Constructed competitive format. This means older sets eventually leave the main competitive card pool as newer expansions are released.

Rotation does not make older cards unusable altogether. Older cards can still be played in formats such as Infinity Constructed, subject to the rules and banned-card list for that format.

Some older cards can also remain usable in Core Constructed if the same card has been reprinted in a currently legal set.
