One Piece Pillars of Strength (OP-03) Booster Pack [English]

Pillars of Strength (OP03) arrived June 30, 2023 featuring many of the straw hat crew’s enemies from East Blue, Water Seven, and Whole Cake Island.

Thematic focus: OP03 is a villain-centric set spanning multiple arcs – East Blue, Water Seven, and Whole Cake Island are highlighted. It gathers many of the “pillar” enemies the Straw Hat crew has battled, like Arlong (East Blue), Rob Lucci and CP9 (Water 7), and Big Mom/Charlotte Linlin with her crew (Whole Cake) all appear.

Notable Cards: A set of new leders was introduced: New multi-color leaders Charlotte Linlin (Black/Yellow), Arlong (Yellow/Green), Portgas D. Ace (Red), Kuro (Green), Nami (Blue), Iceburg (Purple), Rob Luccy (Black) and Charlotte Katakuri (Yellow). In OP03 “Yellow” cards made their debut, introducing the new Yellow color to the game. Yellow focuses on manipulating Life – effects like moving cards to and from life. To synergize, OP03 was released alongside the Big Mom Pirates starter deck (ST-07).

Chase Cards: Every One Piece booster has a special chase card – in OP03’s case it’s the Manga Rare Usopp (“Sogeking”). Pillars of Strength features a unique manga-panel art alternate of Sogeking (Usopp’s alter ego. Additionally, OP03 introduced “Wanted Poster” Special Art style cards for certain characters, which are still highly sought by collectors.

Relevance Today: Pillars of Strength had a lasting impact because it added the final Yellow color, thereby enabling Big Mom/Yonko decks. The Yellow cards (Big Mom, Katakuri, etc.) from OP03 remain core to any Big Mom Pirates strategy. Collectors will also enjoy this set for its special alt-arts like the Sogeking manga card.

Set Composition: 127 card types total (8 Leaders, 45 Commons, 32 Uncommons, 26 Rares, 10 Super Rares, 2 Secrets, plus 4 Special cards).

Pack & Box Details: English packs contain 12 cards each, and a booster box has 24 packs. This standard pack/box format applies to all OP-series boosters.
