One Piece Wings Of The Captain (OP-06) Booster Pack [English]

Wings of the Captain (OP06) released on March 15, 2024. The name “Wings of the Captain” refers to how Zoro and Sanji are often called Luffy’s right and left wings.

Thematic focus: The set’s thematic focus spans Fish-Man Island, Thriller Bark, the Germa 66 storyline (Whole Cake Island), and even Film and Wano elements. For example, Fish-Man Island introduces characters like Hody Jones, Thriller Bark adds Gecko Moria’s crew, and Germa 66 brings in Sanji’s lineage. This set also brought in the new “FILM” type on more cards, allowing synergies with Film-themed decks.

Notable Cards: OP06 introduced 6 new leaders: Gecko Moria (Black), Vinsmoke Reiju (Purple/Blue), Uta (Purple/Red), Hody Jones (Green), Yamato (Green/Yellow) and Perona (Green/Black).

Chase Cards: A new rarity type, “Treasure Rare,” was introduced in this set. Each set only has one Treasury Rare and the one for this set is Nami (ST01-007). The Manga Rare in OP06 is none other than the right wing of captain, Roronoa Zoro (OP06-118), which collectors adore. Another chase is the Secret Rare Sanji (OP06-119).

Relevance Today: The set directly complements the ST-12 Starter Deck (Zoro & Sanji) – many OP06 cards are designed to fortify the ST-12 deck (which was a dual-color Blue/Green deck featuring Zoro and Sanji). Even with newer releases, OP06 holds lasting value for both competitive play and collectors.
