Top Chase Cards in OP12 Legacy of the Master (One Piece TCG)
OP12 is as an underrated modern collector set. Its manga chase, Jewelry Bonney, is well-liked, even if it doesn’t reach top-tier grail status. What really defines OP12 is its depth of premium variants: two new gold and silver 3rd Anniversary Special Rares that sit close to manga rarity, six newly styled Special Rares featuring popular characters like Zoro and Ace, and continued use of alt-art Event cards designed to resemble manga panels. Fitting the “master–pupil” theme, the Leader Alt Arts highlight mentor relationships, adding narrative value collectors appreciate.
Top Chase Cards by Category
Manga Rare

Demon Aura Nine Sword Style Asura Blades Drawn Dead Man's Game (OP12-037)
Boeuf Burst (OP12-060)

Jewelry Bonney (OP12-118)
Is OP12 Romance Dawn worth opening?
OP12 is quite strong for opening, especially at its current price level. There are many chase cards and box prices remain reasonable.
How this set compares
Compared to early sets (OP01–OP04), OP12 follows a structure with multiple categories of chase cards. It feels like a new generation of One Piece TCG sets. Compared to OP05, OP09 and OP13, OP12 is clearly below them in headline hype, but also significantly more affordable. It sits in the “value modern set” tier rather than the grail tier.
