All Manga Rare Cards in One Piece Card Game (Up to OP-13)

All Manga Rare Cards in One Piece Card Game (Up to OP-13)

What Are “Manga Rare” Cards?

In the One Piece Card Game, Manga Rares are the most coveted cards you can pull. Each Manga Rare features exclusive black-and-white manga artwork straight from Eiichiro Oda’s original illustrations, giving them a distinct look compared to all other rarities. These cards are alternate-art versions of key characters, usually iconic moments tied to the One Piece storyline. One Piece TCG Manga Rares are extremely rare with pull rates around 1 per sealed case (12 booster boxes). You might get one Manga Rare in roughly 288 booster packs.

Below we list all the English-language Manga Rares up through OP-13, noting which set each came from, along with approximate current prices. (Prices are rough estimates in euros as of late 2025.)

OP01: Romance Dawn (Dec 2022)

Shanks – OP01-120 (Secret Rare, Alternate “Manga” Art).

The artwork features “Red-Haired” Shanks in Eiichiro Oda’s manga style, with a striking monochrome panel background and Shanks himself in full color. The design evokes a scene straight from the comic, with bold line art and screen-tone shading. Shanks’ imposing stance and iconic scar are highlighted, giving the card a true manga panel feel.

Estimated Value (Sep 2025): ~$800 (raw Near-Mint). (This card originally sold for over $2k at its peak, and still commands several hundred dollars today.

OP02: Paramount War (Mar 2023)

Portgas D. Ace – OP02-013 (Super Rare, Manga Parallel Art).

The artwork depicts Ace in dynamic manga style amid the Marineford war. The card’s art is largely black-and-white with Ace’s flames illustrated in vivid color, capturing the dramatic moment from the manga. Several comic panels form the background, including imagery of Ace’s final stand, giving the card a true manga page collage look. The bold lines and screentone shading emphasize Ace’s fiery resolve, making this card a standout tribute to his character.

Estimated Value (Sep 2025): ~$700 (raw). (Prices have fallen below early $1,000+ highs as supply increased, but this card remains very valuable.)

OP03: Pillars of Strength (Jun 2023)

Sogeking (Usopp) – OP03-122 (Secret Rare, Manga Alternate Art).

The artwork showcases Sogeking (Usopp’s alter ego) in a playful yet heroic manga-style illustration. The background is composed of comic panels from the Enies Lobby arc, rendered in grayscale, which add a fun, nostalgic feel. Sogeking himself is in color, striking a triumphant pose with his cape flowing. The art uses Oda’s signature line work and humorous expression for Usopp, making the card feel like a One Piece manga page come to life – a perfect fit given Sogeking’s over-the-top heroics.

Estimated Value (Sep 2025): ~$300 (raw). (A more affordable manga rare, though still rare with steady demand among collectors.)

OP04: Kingdoms of Intrigue (Sep 2023)

Sabo – OP04-083 (Super Rare, Manga Alternate Art). Artwork: Features Sabo in classic manga form, with a bold black-and-white illustration accentuated by flames in subtle color. The background includes manga panels from the Dressrosa arc – for example, hints of the moment Sabo inherits Ace’s flame powers – all in grayscale. Sabo is depicted mid-action in Oda’s detailed line art, wearing his signature top hat and goggles, with flames curling around his fist. The overall design looks ripped straight from a One Piece comic page, celebrating Sabo’s pivotal role with authentic manga aesthetics.

Estimated Value (Sep 2025): ~$350 (raw). (Sabo’s manga rare has come down from early highs around $700+ and now stabilizes in the mid-$300s range.)

Pull from: Kingdoms of Intrigue booster packs – Buy OP04 Booster Pack.

OP05: Awakening of the New Era (Dec 2023)

Monkey D. Luffy (Gear 5) – OP05-119 (Secret Rare, Manga Alternate Art). The card portrays Luffy in Gear 5 – his Toon-Force-like form – in joyous manga style. The art is directly inspired by Oda’s comic panels revealing Gear 5. Luffy’s figure is drawn in black-and-white line art with dynamic motion lines, and his laughing pose is exactly as in the manga. The background shows collage panels (in grayscale) of Luffy’s “Nika” form antics, enhancing the comic vibe. A touch of color (golden hues) highlights his cloud-like hair and eyes, making the card pop. This card’s playful yet epic artwork truly captures the manga look and the celebratory feeling of Gear 5’s debut.

Estimated Value (Sep 2025): ~$1,800 (raw). (This Gear Five Luffy is one of the most coveted manga rares, valued around \$1.8k; gem-mint graded copies have fetched even more.

OP06: Wings of the Captain (Mar 2024)

Roronoa Zoro – OP06-118 (Secret Rare, Manga Alternate Art).

Artwork: Shows Zoro in a fierce manga-style illustration that befits Luffy’s right-hand man. The design uses a monochrome manga panel collage background – for instance, scenes of Zoro unleashing his Three-Sword Technique in Wano – behind a detailed, line-drawn Zoro in the foreground. Zoro himself is depicted in black-and-white with splashes of green tint on his haramaki (waist band) and bandana, subtly calling back to his anime color while keeping the manga aesthetic. The intense shading and speed lines around Zoro convey motion, making the card look like a panel where Zoro executes a rapid sword strike. It’s a fitting tribute to Zoro’s stature, literally the “Wings of the Captain,” presented in true manga form.

Estimated Value (Sep 2025): ~$600 (raw). (Zoro’s manga rare was initially over $1,500 when OP06 released, but has settled around the $550–$600 range by mid-2025.)

EB01: Memorial Collection (May 2024)

OP07: 500 Years in the Future (Jun 2024)

Boa Hancock – OP07-051 (Secret Rare, Manga Alternate Art).

Artwork: Features Boa Hancock drawn in elegant manga style. The background consists of manga panels of Boa – for example, scenes of her turning enemies to stone with Mero Mero Merrow – in grayscale with dramatic screen-tones. Boa herself is illustrated in Oda’s line art with careful detail to her flowing hair and regal posture; her eyes are colored a striking blue amid the monochrome (an artistic liberty that makes her gaze stand out). The piece captures Boa’s beauty and power, essentially looking like a framed manga cover of the Pirate Empress. Fans also appreciate the subtle romantic nod: one of the faint panels behind her humorously shows a chibi Luffy, alluding to Boa’s love, which is a fun Easter egg in this manga-style art (only visible upon close inspection!).

Estimated Value (Sep 2025): ~$600 (raw). (The manga rare of Boa Hancock has been hovering around the \$600 mark, reflecting her popularity as a character and the card’s scarcity.)

Pull from: 500 Years in the Future booster packs – Buy OP07 Booster Box.

OP08: Two Legends (Sep 2024)

Silvers Rayleigh – OP08-118 (Secret Rare, Manga Parallel Art).

Artwork: Shows “Dark King” Silvers Rayleigh in his prime, illustrated in true manga fashion. The card has a sepia-toned manga panel background (fitting the flashback nature of Rayleigh’s scenes) with glimpses of young Rayleigh and Roger’s ship visible in the panels. Rayleigh’s figure is drawn with bold ink lines; his pose – calmly wielding a sword and coating it in Haki – comes straight from the manga’s Sabaody Archipelago chapters. Unlike most Manga Rares, Rayleigh’s artwork has a slightly aged paper effect to accentuate the “legendary flashback” vibe. The overall effect is like a page ripped from One Piece’s manga history, honoring the mentor of Luffy in a classic comic art style.

Estimated Value (Sep 2025): ~$250 (raw). (Rayleigh’s manga rare is one of the lower-priced entries, around \$250–$300, partly because supply from OP08 was healthier and he’s a non-main character. Still, it’s a significant card featuring a fan-favorite legend.).

Pull from: Two Legends booster packs – Buy OP08 Booster Pack.

PRB01: The Best Vol 1 (Nov 2024)

OP09: Emperors in the New World (Dec 2024)

Gol D. Roger – OP09-118 (Secret Rare, “Gold” Manga Alternate Art).

Artwork: Depicts Gol D. Roger in an epic manga spread style. Notably, this card received a special gold-foil treatment on its manga artwork, giving it the nickname “Gold Manga Rare.” Roger is illustrated with his triumphant grin (as seen during his execution flashback in the manga), drawn in crisp black-and-white line art. The background is a collage of manga panels of Roger’s greatest moments – from finding Laugh Tale to wielding his sword Ace – but overlaid with a golden hue. This blend of monochrome art and metallic gold highlights makes the card shimmer like treasure. When you hold it under light, you’ll notice details like Roger’s laugh (“GAHAHA!”) faintly printed in panel text behind him. It truly looks and feels like a manga cover panel gilded in gold, a tribute to the Pirate King’s legacy in One Piece.

Estimated Value (Sep 2025): ~$3,000 (raw). (As the Pirate King’s card and the first “Gold” manga rare, this is currently the most expensive English Manga Rare – often selling in the mid-four-figures. Early sales were around $3.5k, and it remains extremely sought-after.)

Pull from: Emperors in the New World booster packs – Buy OP09 Booster Box.

OP10: Royal Blood (Mar 2025)

Trafalgar D. Law – OP10-119 (Secret Rare, Manga Alternate Art).

Artwork: Features Trafalgar Law in Oda’s manga style, showcasing his cool and calculating demeanor. The art centers on Law activating his ROOM ability: he’s drawn with his sword Kikoku extended, and comic-book action lines radiating outward. The background has manga panels of Law from the Dressrosa/Wano arcs – for example, panels of Law using “Gamma Knife” – arranged in a jagged pattern (hinting at his Room’s spherical space slicing through). The color palette stays mostly grayscale; however, Law’s Corazon-heart tattoo and the energy of his ROOM are tinted in pale blue, adding a dramatic focal point. This combination of black-and-white art with a splash of color gives the card a stylish manga cover vibe. It’s as if a page of Law’s story was peeled from the comic and enhanced for a trading card, perfectly fitting for the Surgeon of Death.

Estimated Value (Sep 2025): ~$500 (raw). (Law’s manga rare is the newest big chase of early 2025, initially around $480–$500 in the market. His enduring popularity suggests this card will hold strong value.)

Pull from: Royal Blood booster packs – Buy OP10 Booster Pack.

EB02: Anime 25th Collection (May 2025)

OP11: A Fist of Divine Speed (June 2025)

Monkey D. Luffy – OP11-118 (Secret Rare, Manga Alternate Art).

Artwork: Presents Luffy once again in manga form – this time highlighting a different aspect of his power. The illustration seems to reference Luffy’s Gear 4 Snakeman (known for its lightning-fast strikes, tying into “Divine Speed”). Luffy is drawn in intense black-and-white, coiled to throw a punch with stretching arms blurred in motion. The background shows manga sound effects (“Jet Culverin!”) and speed lines in classic comic styling. You can spot faint grayscale panels of Luffy’s fights (likely from the Katakuri battle where Snakeman appears) layered behind him. Unlike the Gear 5 card, this artwork has a fiercer, action-oriented feel – very much like a panel sequence focused on Luffy’s attack. With Oda’s bold line work and minimal color (only a subtle red tint on Luffy’s aura), the card embodies the high-speed impact of the “Fist of Divine Speed” theme, delivering another authentic manga-like collectible for Luffy fans.

Estimated Value (Sep 2025): ~$600 (raw). (This is a second Manga Rare Luffy card, and it debuted around $600 market price on release. Collectors prize it as another iconic Luffy artwork, keeping its value fairly high.)

Pull from: A Fist of Divine Speed booster packs.

OP12: Legacy of the Master (Aug 2025)

Jewelry Bonney – OP12-118 (Secret Rare, Manga Alternate Art).

Artwork: Shows Jewelry Bonney in a lively manga-inspired illustration. The card’s art is directly influenced by Bonney’s scenes in the Egghead Island arc (fitting for “Legacy of the Master,” which alludes to Dr. Vegapunk’s story that Bonney is involved in). Bonney is depicted leaping forward, drawn in black-and-white with dynamic shading – you can almost sense her charging impact from the page. Behind her, a series of manga panels are arranged diagonally; eagle-eyed fans will notice images of Kuma (her father) and Vegapunk in those grayscale panels, reflecting Bonney’s personal quest (this subtle detail truly earns the “legacy” theme!). A touch of pink color is applied to Bonney’s hair in the otherwise monochrome scene, making her instantly recognizable. The overall style looks like a special chapter cover of the manga, with Bonney proudly front and center, which gives this card a distinct and collectible charm.

Estimated Value (Sep 2025): ~$500 (raw). (As a brand new release in August 2025, Bonney’s manga rare opened around the $500 mark. Prices may fluctuate as more OP12 packs are opened, but it’s highly sought after due to its unique artwork and Bonney’s storyline relevance.)

Pull from: Legacy of the Master booster packs.

Collector’s Tips: Rarity & Pull Rates

Manga Rares are exceptionally rare case-hit cards – typically only about one manga variant appears per sealed case of booster boxes, meaning you might have to open hundreds of packs to find one. In each set, the Manga Rare is the ultimate chase card (often denoted as a special parallel Secret Rare). Collectors often prefer to buy sealed cases or join case breaks to maximize odds of pulling one, since the chance from a single loose box is very slim. Remember that these cards are scarce by design – each set’s Manga Rare is printed in low quantities and features unique artwork not found in regular cards.

How to increase your odds of getting a Manga Rare: If you’re opening product, consider splitting a case with other collectors or buying from fresh case stock, as statistically there should be ~1 Manga Rare per case. Alternatively, you can hunt singles on the secondary market; while pricey, this guarantees you the card without the gamble. For those who love the thrill of the pull, watch for “God packs” or special premium products (e.g. ONE PIECE Card Game – The Best Vol.1 packs) which have occasionally reprinted Manga Rares (like the reissued Shanks) – these can be a more efficient way if you’re lucky. Ultimately, patience and caution are key: these cards are valuable, so ensure you buy from reputable sources and consider grading high-condition copies to protect and potentially increase their value.

Happy collecting, and may the luck of the Pirate King be with you on your quest for One Piece TCG’s elusive Manga Rares!
