Complete List of One Piece TCG SP (Special Rare) Cards

Complete List of One Piece TCG SP (Special Rare) Cards

Introduction: Special Rare cards (🔹SP rarity) are a class of alternate-art reprint cards introduced in OP-03 Pillars of Strength. These SP cards feature unique artwork and foiling not found on the regular versions, often paying homage to wanted posters or showcasing characters in new styles. In rarity, SP cards sit below ultra-rare “Manga Rare” cards but above standard alt-arts – typically one SP can appear in 5-6 booster boxes, whereas a Manga Rare is far more elusive (usually only a case hit). Collectors prize SPs for their stunning art: each set from OP-03 onward has its own SP art theme (wanted posters, character portraits, stained-glass mosaics, etc.). Below is the complete list of all English-release SP cards from OP-03 through OP-12, organized by set and release date, with each card’s name/number, set info, current market value (approx. September 2025), a description of its unique artwork, and a shop link for the corresponding product.

Collector’s Tips: Special Rares typically have about 1 in 6 booster boxes pull rate, making them rarer than regular Alt-Art parallels but more common than one-per-case Manga Rares. If you’re hunting a specific SP, buying singles can be more cost-effective than cracking many boxes (with the exception of top chase SPs which can be pricey). Storage: SP cards are full-art foils, so use inner sleeves and top-loaders or graded slabs to prevent scratching the surface. Their value can climb over time if kept in mint condition – especially for fan-favorite characters like Luffy, Shanks, Ace, Nami, and Boa, whose SPs command a premium. Lastly, enjoy the artwork! Each Special Rare is a little piece of One Piece art – from Wanted poster leaders to vibrant alt scenes – and they make for a stunning display in any collection. Happy collecting!
